Time to Face Karma

The next day after the disappointing lost the Cowboys suffered, Brandon was in his office getting the things he didn’t want to leave in his office. He grabbed the box and walked out of the office and the facility. He got into his truck and decided to drive to Coach Carter’s house. Everyone, from the owner to the football players, was mad with him because of the call he called to make them lose. He and Coach Carter were good friends since he has been in Dallas. Brandon arrived to Coach Carter at 2:04 pm on a Monday, a cold day in Dallas. He parked and saw Coach Carter’s car in the driveway. He got out wearing a grey hoodie and grey sweat pants. He walked to the door and knocked. No one answered the door, so he rang the doorbell. Coach Carter came to the door half-naked in his Dallas Cowboy’s shorts.

“Hey Brandon, what’s up man?” Coach Carter asked, opening the door up a little.

“Hey man, are you okay?” Brandon sounded concerned, while trying to peek inside.

“Yeah man, I am doing great, man. I’m just cleaning up, that’s all.”

“Okay, I came to holla at you man. I wanted to talk about this game, if you didn’t mind.”

“You know what, man? I am kind of cleaning here and-” he said nervously.

“Man, watch out.” Brandon pushed the door open.

Brandon walked in and seen a lot of things gone from the house. The house was almost empty.

“Are you moving or something? Did they fire you?” Brandon asked, walking to the living room. The only thing he saw was a 60-inch flat plasma TV.

“Naw man, my wife left me, man. She has been gone since that time I told you at the restaurant. She took everything and went to work for an engineering company in Europe,” Coach Carter said, almost about to shed a tear.

“Damn man, I didn’t know that. Why didn’t you let me know?”

“I couldn’t man. I didn’t want to show any type of weakness. I am kind of private and this hurt me really bad, man. I mean, fuck, why did she have to leave man?” Coach Carter started to cry and Brandon gave him a hug.

“What happened man? She didn’t just leave like that?”

“I…I got caught fucking a girl. She came home and came into my man cave and saw this broad riding my dick. When she came to move, she called the cops and I couldn’t be within 100 feet from her while she moved. It was crazy man. I love my wife but damn, she is about to get me for everything man. She took a lot. I don’t have shit. That is why I have been partying and fucking like crazy because I am trying to keep my mind off of her. She was my everything.”

“It is going to be okay, you just have to grow from this. You have to win her back.”

“I can’t man.”

“Why do you say that?”

Coach Carter walked to the table in the living room and grabbed his phone and threw it to Brandon.
